• Professional Development Training

Learning about the application of the proven principals of Professional Development Training to any aspect of life and teaching people to live more creatively is of paramount importance. But what exactly is this? In short, it is the process of aligning the principles of professional development with a variety of disciplines - from mathematics to history, sociology to psychology, communication and many others. It can also be called Collaborative Learning, or Co-Design.

With this concept, training is used to promote communication, tolerance, compassion, creativity, self-awareness, self-determination, responsibility, self-respect, respect for others, and respect for things or other human beings. Why do these four qualities really matter? Because each one enables us to become better people and this can translate into increased contribution to society.

One good example is tolerance. This is one of the most important principles of Creativity Training because tolerance allows us to respect different opinions. We are all free to believe in any point of view without being threatened by the opposing view or ostracized by our peers.

Secondly, to become talented creative artists or poets, individuals must have a conscience. This means that they do not allow themselves to tolerate what does not benefit them or their society. A conscience teaches individuals to respect and value all people regardless of their race, sex, religion, or nationality.

Lastly, people need to learn how to express themselves and develop their creative expression. This is one of the aspects of Creativity Training that we will cover in this short article. Creating art and expressing ourselves is an expression of our individuality and our humanity.

When working with people, it is important to remember that the application of a sense of responsibility and conscience is not limited to career goals. In fact, all aspects of life are very much influenced by this principle. As an example, I once had a client who had achieved a great deal professionally but she was still looking for opportunities to become more involved with her community.

Why didn't society respond more effectively to her need? This is because no one in her profession was willing to take on the responsibilities that he/she did not feel could be fully supported by those that were performing his/her duties. Of course, when I asked her why this was, she stated, "I was never given that opportunity."

The reason for this lack of openness was quite simply that people didn't consider themselves responsible enough. To them, the task of taking care of people was just too big a responsibility. They had the feeling that they would rather just let people take care of themselves.

If this is the case, why do so many people wish to create or pursue a career in the arts, writing, filmmaking, visual arts, or any other field where it takes a huge effort to express oneself and, by extension, to make others aware of it? Simply put, because this is not something that is done enough, not even sometimes, as it should be. It is the act of making art and expressing ourselves that is the goal and the most important.

Thus, the idea that professional development training should be applied to all facets of human interaction - including coaching - is a very important concept. Although, coaching is a great place to begin learning the application of this idea because it involves a number of different elements - creative expression, communication, and professional responsibilities - it also needs the ability to reach people in all walks of life.

Beyond coaching and creative expression, professional development training can help individuals achieve a sense of a purpose and responsibility to help others and contribute to society. How do we reach individuals who lack this sense of purpose? Through collaborative learning.

In this case, a coaching program would help professionals develop that sense of purpose and responsibility by involving people from all walks of life - including the arts, business, public service, and the humanities. Co-design is another term used for a form of collaborative learning.
